Deleting your data
You can delete everything Shout Relay holds about you yourself, in a minute, or ask us to do it.
Delete your whole account
- Sign in, open Settings, then Your account.
- Choose Delete my account, type your email to confirm.
- Your account, the workspaces you own, their posts, media, codes, links and connected accounts are deleted right away. Media files are removed from storage shortly after, and backup copies age out within 12 months.
You can download your data first from the same screen.
Delete one connected account
Open Profiles, choose the account, and disconnect it. We delete its access token and the data we received from that platform. You can also remove Shout Relay from the platform itself:
- Facebook, Instagram, Threads: in your Meta account, Settings, Apps and websites, remove Shout Relay. Meta then tells us to delete your data, and we do it automatically; you get a confirmation code you can check on this page.
- TikTok: Settings and privacy, Security, Manage app permissions, remove Shout Relay. Disconnect it in Profiles too so we delete the data we hold.
- YouTube: remove access at Google security settings, and disconnect it in Profiles.
Ask us to do it
Email [email protected] from the address on your account and say what you want deleted. We confirm within 30 days, usually the same day.
