Privacy

• Your account: email address, name and photo if you add them, your time zone, and a short history of sign-ins (time, device type, IP address) so you can spot one that was not you.
• What you create: the photos and videos you upload, captions, schedules, posts, affiliate codes, short links, templates and notes.
• Connected accounts: when you connect Instagram, Facebook, Threads, TikTok, YouTube or another platform, that platform gives us an access token, your profile name and picture, and the IDs we need to publish. Tokens are encrypted (AES-256) before they are stored; nobody reads them in the clear, including us. We also store the numbers the platforms report about your posts (views, likes, comments) and the comments you reply to from the inbox.
• Link clicks: for your short links we count clicks with the referring site, phone or desktop, and country. We do not store the visitor's IP address.
• Billing: your plan, its dates and whether a payment went through. Card details go straight to Stripe; we never see or store your card number.

Only to run Shout Relay for you: publish and schedule your posts, write captions, show your results, send you the emails and alerts you asked for, keep your account secure, and bill your plan. We do not sell your information, we do not show ads, and we do not build profiles of you for anyone else.

When you ask for a caption, hashtags, alt text or a translation, the text and images involved are sent to Anthropic, the company behind Claude, to write it. Anthropic processes them on our behalf under its commercial terms, which do not allow it to train its models on your content. We keep a count of the AI requests your workspace makes (to apply your plan's monthly allowance), not a second copy of your content.

• Stripe handles payments, invoices and sales tax.
• Anthropic writes AI captions, as above.
• Cloudflare sits in front of our server for security and speed, and stores media files.
• Google Workspace sends our email.
• The platforms you connect receive the posts you publish to them, under their own privacy policies.

Each one gets only what its job needs. We share information with authorities only when the law requires it, and we tell you when we are allowed to.

You can disconnect any platform in Shout Relay at any time; we then delete its token. You can also cut access from the platform's side:

• Facebook, Instagram and Threads: Settings, Apps and websites, in your Meta account.
• YouTube: Shout Relay uses YouTube API Services. By connecting YouTube you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's use of your data is covered by the Google Privacy Policy. Remove access at Google security settings.
• TikTok: Settings and privacy, Security, Manage app permissions.

Data we received from a platform is used only to provide the features you see in Shout Relay, and is deleted when you disconnect that account or delete your workspace.

One sign-in cookie keeps you signed in. Your light or dark choice is saved in your browser. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.

As long as your account exists. When you delete your account, your workspaces, posts, media, codes and connected tokens are deleted right away, and your media files are removed from storage shortly after. Copies inside our backups age out on their own within 12 months. We keep billing records that tax law requires us to keep, and a short note that an account was deleted.

• See or download it: Settings, Your account, Download my data gives you a file with everything we hold about you.
• Correct it: change your name, email and settings any time in Settings.
• Delete it: Settings, Your account, Delete my account. Or email us and we will do it for you. More on the data deletion page.
• Stop emails: choose what we email you in Settings, Notifications. Billing and security emails always come through.

Wherever you live, you can ask us any of this and we will answer within 30 days.

Everything travels over HTTPS. Platform tokens and two-step sign-in secrets are encrypted at rest. Sign-in is by emailed one-time code, with optional two-step sign-in using an authenticator app. If something ever goes wrong that affects your information, we will tell you promptly and plainly.

Shout Relay is for people 16 and older. We do not knowingly hold information about anyone younger; if you think we do, tell us and we will delete it.

If we change this page in a way that matters, we will email account owners and show a notice in the app before the change takes effect.
